So you know how all these positive thinking articles, books and “preachers” tell us to focus on the positive part of your life?
It’s apparently good to rewire our brains, help them see with pink glasses and actually end up making our lives better and more rewarding?
Well I’m trying to do that, as much as possible, but despite all my best efforts there are still days when I just want to complain about literally everything and every part of my existence feels like crap. That’s not an everyday thing but still, it happens.
These days, with the wintery weather (more cold and wet than snowy), a more gloomy ambiance in the expat community, the shadow of the upcoming elections combined to the possible upcoming total withdrawal of foreign troops, and the constant list of announcements of departures coming from the people that I had started to consider as my friends … Well these days it’s a bit too often & too much of complaining… So I thank the universe for Skype and instant messaging and I put my head around a funny projects… such as writing down the humorous list of all the unexpected but yet positive aspects of Lock-Down, or to be more exact semi-lock-down!
